Mogadishu (SONNA) — The second annual Somalia Justice Conference entered its second day in Mogadishu, with this year’s discussions centered around the theme “Inclusive Justice for All.”
The conference brings together senior officials including Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, the federal and state-level justice institutions, alongside representatives from international organizations, legal experts, and other distinguished guests.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to close the conference today, as participants focus on strengthening the independence of Somalia’s judiciary, enhancing accountability mechanisms, and rebuilding public trust in justice institutions.
The forum also features expert recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of judicial services, ensuring that the Somali people benefit from a fair and responsive justice system.
