Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation today launched a Strategic Communications Training bringing together communications and media personnel from the Ministry, the Somali National Army, and partner institutions.
The program was officially opened by Director General Aidarus Moallim Hassan, who commended the dedication of the Ministry’s Communication and Public Engagement Department. He emphasized that this department’s work plays a vital role in ensuring the Ministry’s initiatives are clearly and accurately communicated to the Somali people, to whom we are accountable.
The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation remains committed to strengthening transparent, responsible, and effective communication with the People of Somalia.
During the launch of the Strategic Communications Training, the Director of Communications and Public Engagement, Abdiaziz Ahmed Gurbiye, addressed the participants.
He highlighted the importance of professional, coordinated messaging across government institutions, noting that effective communication is essential to building public trust, countering misinformation, and supporting the Ministry’s broader mandate.
