Somali National Army (SNA) Special Forces successfully carried out a planned operation last night in Bula Madina, an area within Afgooye district, Lower Shabelle, neutralizing three Al-Shabaab militants.
The operation also resulted in the rescue of 30 civilians, including two women, who had been held hostage by the extremist group. Security forces destroyed an illegal detention site and a makeshift court previously used by Al-Shabaab to oppress local residents.
The mission is part of broader SNA efforts to restore security and support local communities in areas affected by militant activity.
