MOGADISHU (SONNA) – The Acting Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama, conducted a working inspection today at the headquarters of the National Civil Service Commission (NCSC). His visit focused on closely observing the daily operations across the Commission’s various departments.
The Deputy Prime Minister was welcomed to the NCSC headquarters by the Commission’s Chairman, Hassan Abshir Mohamed. The Acting Prime Minister received a detailed briefing from the Chairman and the senior leadership team of the NCSC, who updated him on current operations, future development plans, and ongoing efforts to professionalize the federal government’s civil service administration.
Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama emphasized that the National Civil Service Commission is the backbone of the government’s administrative system, as it serves to connect government institutions with the Somali public. He also noted the Commission’s visible role in enhancing the efficiency and accountability of state agencies.
The Deputy Prime Minister commended the NCSC leadership and staff for their dedication to administrative reform and improving the civil service system. He encouraged them to further intensify their work in enhancing public services.
