MOGADISHU (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama, conducted an inspection tour today of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism headquarters.
The Deputy Prime Minister visited the various departments of the Ministry, observing the daily work being carried out across the media and administrative sections. He was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala.
Following the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama stated that the Ministry of Information is the central hub connecting government activities with the public. He highlighted its critical function in disseminating government messaging and facilitating public awareness.
Finally, Mr. Jama commended the Ministry’s leadership and the entire staff of the National Media for their persistent efforts in the fight against the Khawaarij extremist group and their crucial work in public awareness campaigns. The visit showed the government’s recognition of the National Media’s vital role in both national security and public service.
