Amman, (SONNA) — The Minister of Health and Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adam, who is on an official visit to Amman, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET) to enhance collaboration in strengthening Somalia’s healthcare services.
EMPHNET is an international organization dedicated to improving public health through capacity building for health workers, combating infectious diseases, and advancing health surveillance systems.
The organization has previously implemented several health support projects in Somalia, particularly across various regions of the country.
The new agreement lays the foundation for broader cooperation between the Ministry of Health and EMPHNET, aimed at improving the healthcare system and enhancing the quality of medical services for the Somali people.
