Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Second Deputy Speaker of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Hon. Abdullahi Ali Hirsi Timacadde, today received Dr. Adan Abdullahi Aw-Hassan, Speaker of the North Eastern State Parliament, along with a delegation accompanying him.
The meeting focused on a briefing from the Speaker on the legislative activities of the North Eastern State Parliament and the political and social situation in the state.
Both sides discussed ways to strengthen working relations between the Upper House and the North Eastern State Parliament, underscoring the importance of cooperation on key national priorities and shared parliamentary responsibilities at both federal and state levels.
