Minnesota (SONNA) — The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, met with Somali scholars and business leaders in Minnesota, United States, where he briefed them on the ongoing progress in Somalia and the government’s plans to strengthen security, boost the economy, and implement direct elections.
Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama thanked the scholars and entrepreneurs for their vital contributions to Somalia’s development, including job creation and support for government-led development programs. He emphasized that the Somali diaspora plays an indispensable role in driving economic growth and rebuilding the nation.
The Deputy Prime Minister also encouraged the Somali community in Minnesota to continue fostering unity, cooperation, and trust in building a prosperous future for Somalia.
