Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Director General of Mogadishu Port, H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nur (Amb. Americo), led an inspection visit today to various sections of the Port to assess the progress of ongoing development works.
Ambassador Americo, accompanied by other senior officials, reviewed the projects aimed at expanding and modernizing Mogadishu Port, which is a vital economic lifeline for Somalia.
The inspection highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening port infrastructure, enhancing trade capacity, and supporting national economic growth. Officials emphasized that the ongoing development will enable Mogadishu Port to meet international standards and better serve the needs of the Somali people and business community.
