Mogadishu, Somalia – The Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Abdirahman Yusuf Al Adala, arrived in Minnesota, USA, for a series of meetings with the Somali diaspora. He was warmly welcomed by members of the local Somali community.
The visit is a part of the government’s strategy to engage with the Somali diaspora, a key component of the “Dan-Qaran Government’s Performance Exhibition (2022-2025).” During his stay, Deputy Minister Al Adala will brief the community on the latest developments in Somalia, including progress in security, the economy, and social affairs. The visit also serves to highlight the vital role the diaspora plays in supporting the nation’s rebuilding efforts.
Following his engagements in Minnesota, Deputy Minister Al Adala and his delegation are scheduled to travel to Miami, Florida, to participate in an annual international conference focused on countries with tourism-dependent economies. The participation in this event reflects the government’s broader efforts to promote tourism as a major driver of economic growth.
