Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Somalia, H.E. Alper Aktaş.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in defence, military training, and the continued support that Türkiye extends to Somalia to enhance the country’s security and stability.
Minister Fiqi praised the strategic partnership between Somalia and Türkiye, commending Türkiye’s visible role in building defence institutions and advancing the skills of the Somali Armed Forces.
