Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, today received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu, for discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and deepening cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to China for its continued support to Somalia, particularly in the areas of politics, security cooperation, economic development, and humanitarian assistance.
For his part, Ambassador Wang Yu highlighted the longstanding partnership between Somalia and China and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to further supporting the Somali people and government.
