Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Youth Council, under the leadership of Chairman Mohamed Ali Siyad, played a significant role in organizing and participating in the Independence Week celebrations held in Mogadishu.
As part of their contribution, the Council hosted a major event that brought together over 200 outstanding Somali youth leaders, who gathered to joyfully commemorate Somalia’s Independence Week with patriotic spirit and unity.
The event highlighted the youth’s vital role in preserving the legacy of freedom and promoting national pride, solidarity, and civic engagement among the younger generation.
