Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Gen. Lt. H.E. Gen. Bashir Mohamed Jama officially handed over responsibilities today between the new and outgoing Director General at a ceremony in Mogadishu. The event emphasized institutional continuity and leadership transition.
Minister Bashir praised the outgoing DG for advancing the Ministry’s work and urged the new DG to lead effectively in tackling climate change and improving environmental services: “Leadership is a responsibility—we must work together to protect our environment.”
