Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi, alongside the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E. Mohamed Ahmed Aamir, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Nasiib Buundo Road, which connects the districts of Warta-Nabadda, Boondheere, and Shibis.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Jibril emphasized the importance of proper infrastructure planning, stating, “When a road is constructed, it is essential to build drainage systems; otherwise, the road will not last. I urge district commissioners to take action against those who neglect the cleanliness of our roads.”

He commended the Banadir Regional Administration for prioritizing the development of critical road networks in Mogadishu, which are vital for the mobility and well-being of residents. He also called on citizens to support efforts to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the city’s streets.
