Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia is organizing an important public forum under the theme: “The Role of Traditional Justice and Its Collaboration with the Supremacy of the Law and Formal Judicial System.”
The forum aims to explore how traditional justice mechanisms can play a meaningful role in complementing Somalia’s formal justice system. Discussions will focus on the potential for cooperation between traditional dispute resolution practices and the official legal framework to strengthen access to justice and uphold the rule of law.
Senior officials from the judiciary, legal experts, and scholars with deep knowledge of justice and social traditions are expected to participate in the event.
