Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The SSC-Khaatumo Administration has officially transferred the custody of 25 inmates with special circumstances to the Federal Government of Somalia. The handover marks a step forward in coordination between regional and federal authorities in ensuring justice and humane treatment of detainees across the country.
The inmates were received by the Federal Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, H.E. Hassan Macallin Mahmoud, who expressed appreciation for the cooperation shown by the SSC-Khaatumo administration. The transfer is part of broader justice sector reforms aimed at improving detention conditions and standardizing legal procedures throughout Somalia.
