Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) held a fruitful meeting with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General of Somalia, George Conway along with Crispen Rukasha, the head of OCHA in Somalia.
The meeting focused on the current humanitarian situation, stressing the need for collaboration in advocating for relief efforts. It outlined strategies to prioritize and secure areas needing immediate assistance, promoting a united approach to support those affected.
The officials highlighted the vital role of NGOs in overseeing relief operations and emphasized the need for thorough preparations for the upcoming quarterly Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF).
