Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has received a message of solidarity from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi after an attack targeted his convoy.
President El-Sisi extended his heartfelt wishes for President Mohamud’s safety, reaffirming Egypt’s unwavering support for Somalia and condemning all forms of violence and terrorism. He also expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
In response, President Mohamud expressed his deep gratitude for President El-Sisi’s gesture, emphasizing the strong bonds of brotherhood between the two nations and their peoples.
