Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Chairman of the Banadir Regional Heritage and Culture Research Institute, Abdullahi Sheikh Nur (Khadar), has presented three research studies to the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. These reports, produced by the institute, focus on critical issues affecting Mogadishu’s security, urban environment, and economic recovery.
One of the studies provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of drug abuse on the security and stability of Mogadishu. The second report examines the city’s cleanliness and explores effective strategies to restore its former beauty. The third study focuses on Mogadishu’s security and economic recovery, highlighting its progress and challenges.
The research reports handed over to President Mohamud are considered vital for the development of Somalia’s capital, ensuring it aligns with global urban standards and advances in all sectors.
