Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Ahmed Al-Shara’, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency during the transitional phase.
In his message, President Mohamud expressed his sincere wishes for President Al-Shara’s success and wisdom in leading the Syrian Arab Republic through this critical stage. He also conveyed his hopes for the realization of comprehensive developmental reforms and the achievement of a secure national stability, in line with the aspirations of the Syrian people. President Mohamud emphasized Somalia’s support for Syria’s journey toward peace, development, and prosperity.
The message underscores the strong bilateral relations between the two nations and reflects Somalia’s commitment to fostering solidarity with Syria during its transitional period.
