Mogadishu (SONNA): The Committee on Fact Finding, Reconciliation, and Property Restitution of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Republic of Somalia convened today with members of the Federal Ministry of Interior and Reconciliation.
The meeting focused on the Real Reconciliation Program and its strategic implementation. Members of the ministry presented a comprehensive report on the Strategy and Real Reconciliation System Committee, outlining the proposed National Strategic Plan for the Implementation of the National Reconciliation Process.
Dr. Ahmed Adan Ahmed, Chairman of the Committee for Truth-seeking, Reconciliation, and Restitution, emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the Committee and the Ministry. He assured that ongoing meetings would be held to ensure the effective execution of the reconciliation strategy.
This engagement marks a pivotal moment in Somalia’s efforts to foster unity and address historical grievances through structured and strategic reconciliation initiatives.
