Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army backed by Jubaland State forces on Monday foiled Al-Shabaab militants who attempted to attacks Bula-Haji, and Harbole areas near Afmadow district in lower Juba region according to Federal Government and regional state authorities.
Deputy Minister of Information of Somalia, Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala said on Facebook Post that the joint forces defeated the terrorists and destroyed them on spots with heavy casualties.
He added that the Government will provide details about the latest aggressive attempted attacks and losses of the group fighters in lower Juba region soon.
