Hamas chief Haniyeh’s sister among 10 reported killed in attack on al-Shati camp. Two other attacks on schools kill at least 14 people.

A high risk of famine remains in Gaza as more than 495,000 Palestinians experiencing “catastrophic” food shortages.

At least 10 Palestinians, including guards securing aid trucks, killed in an Israeli attack on people seeking aid supplies in Khan Younis.

“Gaza has been decimated,” UNRWA chief says, adding that “children are dying of malnutrition and dehydration, while food and clean water wait in trucks”.

PM Netanyahu says war will continue even if a ceasefire deal is agreed upon with Hamas. The Palestinian group says his comments show he rejects the ceasefire proposal laid out by President Biden.

At least 37,626 people killed and 86,098 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7. The revised death toll in Israel from the Hamas-led attacks stands at 1,139, with dozens of people still held captive in Gaza.
