Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Court of Appeal of Banadir Regional Administration today opened the hearing of the case against Sayid Ali Moalim Daud who was sentenced to death by firing squad by the Banadir Regional Court after finding him guilty of burning his wife Luul Abdiaziz and later died of the burns.
A letter from the Appeal Court was sent to the Commander of Hamar-Weyne district police to bring Sayid Ali to the court for the hearing.
Sayid Ali killed his wife in Dharkenley district in their house while she was carrying his child in hier womb, and after he burned her, he left her in the house and she was taken to the hospital by the neighbours and she succumbed to the injuries and died.
