Mogadishu, SONNA – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi , received on Wednesday at his office in the Ministry in the capital Mogadishu, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) for Somalia, and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM), H.E. Ms. Catriona Laing, where he discussed with her a broad range of key issues including political and security topics essential to the nation’s progress.
The meeting focused on potential collaborations to address Somalia’s challenges, highlighting the necessity of ongoing cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and the United Nations.
