Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe) met with the United Nations delegation based in Somalia led by the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations to Somalia, Raisedon Zenenga.
The meeting discussed the general situation of Somalia and the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists and particularly focused on the review of the constitution and its fourth chapter.
The Deputy Special Representative welcomed the amendments of the constitution and the process taken by the parliament and the UN will assist Somalia through the process.
