Mogadishu, SONNA – Somalia’s aviation sector received a major boost on Wednesday as the country’s first and only aircraft repair center resumed operations after 34 years of closure.
The Blue Hanger facility, located at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, will provide safety and maintenance services for planes flying in and out of Somalia.
The Minister of Transport and Aviation, Fardowso Igaal, inaugurated the facility and praised its role in enhancing the country’s air connectivity and security.
