Mogadishu,[SONNA]- The Somali Police Force (SPF) have begun a 7-day training program at the General Kaahiye Police Academy in Mogadishu. Organized by the African Union Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) Police, the training aims to equip SPF officers with essential knowledge and skills crucial for effective community policing and crime prevention.
Brigadier General Mohamed Mohamud Mohamed, SPF Director of General Operations Command, and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Samuel Asiedu Okanta, ATMIS Police Training & Development Coordinator, expressed their unwavering commitment to advancing the capabilities of SPF officers. They emphasized the significance of ongoing training programs, reaffirming their dedication to continuous improvement and development in the SPF.
