The Deputy PM meets Southwest State President together with other officials

Baidoa, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Salah Ahmed Jama together with the Commissioner of Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) and heads of agencies working in Baidoa on humanitarian issues, met with the President of Southwest State, HE Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen).

The President shared with the officials the problems caused by the floods in the districts of SWS and the ongoing efforts to rescue the people affected by the floods.

The DPM and Heads of Agencies accompanying the delegation said that their visit was related to providing relief to the flood-affected people living across the SWS Region.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the SoDMA Agency sent a relief cargo plane to Baidoa.
