Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hamza Abdi Barre opened a conference on the vital role of Islamic Scholars in peace and reconciliation, as well as encouraging the people to fight terrorism.
The Prime Minister made a speech at the conference addressing the people and the Islamic Scholars to take their part in the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists and support the Somali National Army.
Prime Minister Hamza said in his speech, “A government without a complete constitution cannot be a government. We need to complete the draft constitution.”
The Prime Minister stressed finishing the constitution because it would show the government is complete.
He added that the government has done its utmost best to fight for debt relief, liberate areas formally held by the Al-Shabaab militants, and work to increase economic growth.
