The Kharijites group Al-Shabaab is a menace that had plagued the nation for years, met its match in the relentless determination of the government and the citizens who were unwavering in their commitment to rid the country of this threat. The successful campaign not only put an end to the Khawaarijta’s reign of terror in Galmudug and HirShabelle but also effectively obliterated their infrastructure, finances, and military capabilities.
