1- The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Dr Hassan Sheikh Mohamud continues with efforts of leading the completion of the 1st phase of the war against the Kharijites Al Shabab in the central regions.
2- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud meets politicians from the South West State in Dhusamareb.
3- Leaders of the Nation condoled the death of the former Mayor of Mogadishu, the late Ali Ugas Abdulle.
4- Speakers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia and Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre have attended the funeral of the former mayor of Mogadishu, Ambassador Ali Ugas Abdulle.
5- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Somalia in Mogadishu.
6- The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama and his delegation visited the town of Dhusamareb which is the command center of the war against the Kharijites Al Shabab in the central regions.
7- The Banadir Regional Court announced the sentence of 11 members who were accused of corruption.
8- The President of the South West Region, Mr. Abdiasis Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, met with the Chairman of the Somali National Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) in Baidoa, Mr. Mohamud Maallim Abdulle.
9- Somalia’s Minister of Finance Bihi Iman Ige said that the government has managed to increase the revenue by 25%, which means that the government has enough to pay the salaries without needing subsidy..
10- Somalia’s Finance Minister Bihi Iman Ige attended the Horn of Africa Finance Ministers Cooperation Conference in Addis Ababa.
11- The National Security and Intelligence Agency (NISA) has arrested Sufyaan Sheikh Ahmed, who has been spreading extremist ideas against the peace, stability and governance of Somalia from Nairobi, Kenya.
12- The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has captured Sakaria Kamal Sufi Abba-Sheikh (Saki) who was the most important person of the enemy of the Kharijites Al Shababj, in charge of buying weapons and explosives from abroad for the terror group.
13- Some of the militias of Al Shabab have voluntarily surrendered to the Armed Forces, having decided to stay away from the extremist ideology.
14- The Commander of the Land Forces Col. Dayah Abdi Abdulle, arrived in Ali Foldhere area under Mahaday district in the Middle Shabelle region.
15- The Somali National Army with the help of ATMIS has captured the Ali Fuldhere area in the Middle Shabelle region from the Kharijites Al Shabab.
16- The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Somalia, Mr. Daud Aweis Jama, has opened the consultation meeting of the Ministries of Information of the Regional States and the Banadir region in Baidoa.
17- The Minister of Education, Heritage and Higher Education of Somalia, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir met with the Minister of Heritage and Culture Amir Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Minister of Education Youssef Al-Bunyan in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
18- The Minister of Youth and Sports of Somalia Mohamed Barre Mohamud and a delegation he leads who are on a working visit to Egypt had a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Dr Ashraf Subhi.
19- The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Somalia, Honorable Daud Aweis Jama, concluded the meeting in Mogadishu on the preparation of the action plan for the implementation of the national strategy for media relations.
20- The National Disaster Management Agency has shared a warning message with the Somali people to be aware of the damage caused by the El-Nino weather condition.
21- The security forces of Dolow district thwarted a car filled with explosives.
22- The National Intelligence and Security Forces operating in Gedo region have conducted an operation in Luuq District and arrested a conspirator, Mohamed Ali Osman, who belonged to the Kharijites Al Shabab, who was involved in harming the people of the area.
23- The Commander of the Land Forces, Col Dayah Abdi Abdulle, visited Biyadde area in the Middle Shabelle region.
24- Somali National Forces continue to make gains against the Kharijites Al Shabab militants in several battle fronts in central Somalia.
25- Somali National Army releases a list of about 20 key figures of the Kharijites Al Shabab killed in the ongoing operations.
26- The Commander of the Somali Police Force has closed a training session of municipal local forces in Mogadishu.
