Mogadishu, Somalia, SONNA – Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre inaugurated the newly recruited Teachers Training Ceremony for 3,000 teachers at the General Kaahiye Police Academy on Saturday.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education and attended by various officials, including Minister of Labour Bihi Egeh and Somali Police Force Commissioner Gen. Sulub Ahmed Firin.
The training program for the 3,000 teachers is part of the government’s efforts to improve education in Somalia. The newly trained teachers will be deployed to public schools across the country to provide quality education to Somali children.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Barre inspected and greeted soldiers at the Police Academy. He praised the work of the Police Force for their service to the nation.
The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to continuing to invest in education and improving the lives of Somali people.
