Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sh. Mohamud said that his Government will concentrate on delivering public services and liberating the country from the terrorists during 2023.
He said this remark in his address of the new year, briefing the public over the latest progresses made in the operation against Al-Shabaab militants during his 7 months term and Government’s plan in debt relief, completing constitutional agencies, health care and education.
” 2023 is the year for liberating terrorist militants from all over the country”, President Hassan said, mentioning latest military achievement gained so far in the on-going operations in Somalia’s Hirshabelle and Gamudug States.
The President stated that Government’s plan to take the responsibility of African Union Transition in Somalia (ATMIS) is going on and the mission will come to an end in 2024.
He said that the Federal Government of Somalia is committed to restore and deliver public services including free education and health care that the every citizen has to get in his/her place.
