Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somaliland and Southwest electoral teams on Tuesday continued elections of the House of the People for the Federal Parliament here in Mogadishu and Baidoa town in Bay region, SONNA reported.
Somaliland electoral teams held the elections of 9 seats producing largest of members of the Federal Parliament into the House of the People so far.
Southwest State teams also held elections of 3 seats in Baidoa town, becoming the second in terms of number of Mps elected from regions.
Federal Electoral Implementation teams observed today’s elections in Mogadishu, in order, to ensure the credibility of the electoral process which was going on at Somalia’s Air force base.
