Doha, (SONNA) – The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempt to assassinate the spokesman of the Somali Federal Government, who was injured in an attack on his vehicle in the capital, Mogadishu.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism. They stressed the need to pursue those involved in the attempt and bring them to justice.
The statement expressed Qatar’s wishes to the Somali government spokesman for a speedy recovery.
