Kismayo (SONNA): Jubbaland State Electoral Implementation Committee (SEIT) announced six parliamentary seats for Jubbaland in Kismayo, SONNA reported
Abdirashid Jire Qalinle and Hamse Abdi Barre were the first to win Jubbaland seats to the House of People of Federal Parliament as the elections commenced in the State on Tuesday.
Members of Electoral Dispute Resolution Commission were observing on the voting process at Kismayo voting station, the counting of votes, and declaration of provisional results.
The election process is now on track with the Puntland administration expected to hold 10 seats soon.
