Mogadishu(SONNA)-Southwest State Security forces on Sunday morning destroyed terrorist network of Al-Shabaab and arrested 12 militants after carrying out successful operation in Baidoa town, the Interim capital of Southwest State in Somalia, SONNA reported.
Mohamud Mohamed Hassan, Commander of the Intelligence and Security Agency for Southwest State administration told Somali National News Agency SONNA that these terrorists were imminent threat to the peace in Baidoa town which is preparing to host Parliamentary election next week.
“Security forces destroyed terrorist network and arrested 12 Al-Shabaab members hiding in Baidoa town of Bay region today, the operation continues to make sure the security”, Mr. Hassan said.
