Mogadishu(SONNA)-Jubaland State President, Ahmed Mohamed Islam on Wednesday called for International Aid Agencies to extend humanitarian assistance to people hit by the drought in areas under his administration, SONNA reported.
Mr. Islam said that the drought affected pastoralists, farmers in the region, saying the people are also sick, and the described their situation to be difficult and in need of an emergency humanitarian assistance soon.
