Galmudug Darawish forces repulse an attack carried by Al-Shabaab in Galgudud region

Adado(SONNA): Galmudug’s Darawish forces have successfully repulsed an attack carried by Al-Shabaab terrorist group in Adakibir area of ​​Galgadud region on Friday afternoon, SONNA reported.

Based on early reports from the area indicates that Al-Shabaab militants have suffered heavy casualties after repulsing their failed attempt.

In the last two months, Galmudug Darawish forces have liberated towns and villages in the region after intense clashes with Al-Shabaab militants,resulting in delivering heavy losses to the extremist group, which assumed to be the reason behind the failed attempt.

Recent reports states that the army based in the towns of Adado, Bahdo and Godinlabe will withdraw and  to be mobilize towards Adakibir area to support the army, conducting military operations in the towns and villages near Adakibir area in Galgudud region.
