Addis Ababa (SONNA)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud Abubakar, met today in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, with the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat, and discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation between Somalia and the African Union Commission, as well as exchanging views on continental issues of common interest, including regional stability and the renewal of the African Union Mission In Somalia (AMISOM) mandate.
The minister briefed the Chairperson of the African Union Commission the current political and security situation in the country.
