Mogadishu(SONNA)-Joint forces from Federal Government and Galmudug State beefed up the security situation of Dhusamareb town, the administrative capital of Galmudug State that is currently hosting the consultative forum between regional leaders and the Federal Government of Somalia, SONNA reported.
There are heavy presence of armed forces aimed at to ensure the security of the large delegations as well as the whole town at moment according to SONNA.
The forces took action against the terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab yesterday after the militant fighters attempted to interrupt the peace and on-going efforts to decide the future of the country. 3 Al-Shabaab fighters killed and several others injured while one was caught alive and recovered weapons in the outskirts of the town.
Army officials displayed the weapons recovered and the dead bodies of the militants to the media in Dhusamareb yesterday on Tuesday.
