Mogadishu (SONNA)-A preliminary agreement between the Somali government and Albayrak Company that manages the port of Mogadishu, was signed in Istanbul Turkey , SONNA reported.
The agreement was signed by the minister of ports and maritime transport in the Federal government of Somalia Mrs. Maryan Aweys Jamac representing Somali Government in the presence of the Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia Abdirahman Duale Beyle.
The Minister of Finance thanked both sides by signing the agreement which has been under review for almost two Years that was agreed upon.
On the Turkish side, it was signed by Mr. Ahmed Albayrak the owner of Albayrak Company.
The agreement is expected to be signed by both parties in Mogadishu in the coming days.
