Mogadishu (SONNA)-A delegation led by Galmudug state President HE Ahmed Abdi Kariye (Qoor Qoor) arrived in Turkey, and were received by officials from the Somali embassy led by Ambassador Jama Abdullahi Aideed and his deputy, SONNA reported.
The chairman of Somali community in Turkey sheikh Mohamed, and Somali businessmen were among those who welcomed the delegation.
The president was accompanied by the Chairman of the Somali Federal parliament’s constitutional oversight committee, Abdi Hassan Awale (Qeydid), the Director of the Somali construction Development Agency Bashir Mohamed Jama (keynan) and other members.
During his stay in Turkey, HE President Ahmed Abdi Kariye (QorQor) is expected to meet with officials from the Somali embassy in Turkey, the Somali community and Somali students studying in various cities of the country to discuss the general situation of Somalia especially Galmudug State.
