Mogadishu(SONNA)-it is a blessed day in Somalia, our brothers were saved from an unprovoked attack by al-Shabaab militants. Around 8:25 this morning at the AHMED WAYEEL SCHOOL near the Turkish Academy gate, a suicide bomber detonated himself killing two people and injuring two others. Although the loss of life and injuries are a tragedy, our hearts are with the families of the lost and the wounded at this time, but this incident could have been much worse.

The intense training a for SNA force is is clearly being seen in these events. Their fast action and clearheaded decision making stop the massacre of a large group of people who were gathered for recruitment into the next Eagle Training Battalion. We thank those SNA soldiers who acted so courageously and rapidly to save lives, you are making Somalia safe for future generations. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.
