Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Council of Ministers (the Cabinet) of the Federal Government of Somalia held its regular meeting today chaired by Prime Minister H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, approved the process of the Emergency Sales Guide.
The Council listened to reports from the Ministry of Defense and the Commander of the Joint Operation of the Second Phase to eliminate the Al-Shabaab terrorists, which is related to the preparation of the second phase of the operation to liberate the country from the group, and indicated that this operation, which was called the Black Lion (Libaaxa Madow), will soon begin.
The Prime Minister underlined the commitment that of the Government to eradicate the terrorists in our country and fight them all in terms of financial, ideological and militarily.
Also, the Committee listened to reports on Debt Relief and Tax Exemption, GDP 2022 and International Donation Process (Somalia Aid) from the Ministries of Finance and Planning and International Investment.
The organizing committee of the Independence Week, shared with the council how successful the celebration of the week was, which was held all over the country to celebrate it.
