Mogadishu(SONNA)-The General Director of the Ministry of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia has inspected the temporary HQs and the Mogadishu Port base of the Somali Navy.
The Director General of the Ministry of Defense of Somalia inspected various facilities of the Somali Navy in the country’s capital, including their interim headquarters and the Mogadishu port sea base.
The Director met the Commander of the Somali Navy, Admiral Abdulhamid Mohamed Dirir, the Navy’s Operations Commander, Admiral Shino Abdi and Dr. Michael O’Hara, a MODAT adviser at the Ministry of Defense by the US Embassy in Mogadishu
The Government of Somalia is fully committed to rebuilding the Somali Navy and Coast Guard to fulfill their national duties of protecting and managing the country’s seas.
