Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Minister of Women and Human Rights Development of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Hanifa Mohamed Ibrahim opened a conference for Somalis with disabilities to discuss the need for people with disabilities to be presented at the World Disability Conference next month in Norway on Monday.
The two-day meeting will be attended by officials from the National Disability Agency and disability advocacy organisations.
The International Conference on Persons with Disabilities, which was first held in 2018, is now hosted by the Government of Norway.
