Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Salah Ahmed Jama said that Somalia has made significant progress in the fight against Al-Shabaab and security sector reforms, as evidenced by the progress in the timely ATMIS drawdown.
He also briefed the officials at the 37th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly of Heads of State and Government of Somalia’s victories and achievements.
“I urged the Assembly to join us in condemning Ethiopia’s expansionism, which doesn’t only breach our sovereignty but also the laws of the AU,” Mr. Jama said at the AU leaders summit.
